ALI'S SEARED BEEF WITH CAVOLO NERO & BEETROOT

Serves 2

Preparation time: 10 minutes + marinating time

Cooking time: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
3 teaspoon Horseradish sauce
2 teaspoon whole grain mustard
1 teaspoon honey
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 sirloin steaks (400grams)
200 grams shredded Cavolo Nero
2 cooked beetroot, coarsely grated

DIRECTIONS:
Mix together 1 teaspoon horseradish sauce, 1 teaspoon mustard, the honey & 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce & pour over the steaks & leave to marinade for 30mins.

Remove from the marinades & grill for 2-3 minutess on each side.

Meanwhile, steam the Cavolo Nero for 4 minutes.

Mix the remaining horseradish sauce, mustard & worcestershire sauce in a large frying pan & add the Cavolo Nero & beetroot, stir well to combine. 

Divide the Cavolo Nero between 2 plates & top with the steaks.
