SAM'S SWEDE WEDGES

INGREDIENTS:

2 swedes

1/2 cup plain flour

1/2 cup parmesan

Salt & pepper

 

DIRECTIONS:

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour & parmesan with a sprinkling of salt & pepper.

Cut the swedes into wedge shapes, put them in a saucepan & cover with boiling water.

Add a sprinkle of salt & bring the water back to boiling point, cover & simmer for 3 minutes.

Drain the boiled swede & while they are still steaming shake them in a plastic bag with the seasoning (make sure the bag has no holes)

Place the wedges on an oiled tray & cook in a medium-hot oven until golden.
