Growlink is an extension of the Katikati market garden known as ‘The Onion Veggie Place’.

The Onion Veggie Place is well known to Katikati’s Locals as it has been operational for over 50 years so it is a real icon to the district.
It is situated on the main highway about a kilometre on the south side of Katikati township, the ‘True Blue’ Kiwi Veggie stall supplying fresh grown veggies to passers-by.
Now they have an online store called Growlink, which means they are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Though the veggie stall has always been a 7 days a week stall anyway this just adds another dimension to the business.
Growlink sells fresh, locally grown fruit, vegetables, with an ever expanding grocery section; featuring eggs (including duck eggs), relishes, chutneys, honeys and much, much more. Check out www.growlink.co.nz. They are also on facebook.
You can create an account and log in to choose the fruit, vegetables and  groceries you want.
Pay online with the secure payment service.
Place an order which is made up and delivered to your door or workplace in the afternoon of the scheduled day of delivery.
They deliver between Mt Maunganui and Waihi Beach for just $5. Growlink’s delivery schedule is as follows:

What Growlink doesn’t grow, they source locally.

They have a long term relationship with local growers and suppliers.

The point of difference between the Growlink website and others is that they harvest in the morning to put in orders for that day, rather than sourcing from produce warehouses. Great for the customer!
The website has a Recipe section, so you can see some of our favourite recipes and be inspired.

Growlink is dedicated to healthy eating, & loves sharing information about nutritional benefits of different Fruits & Vegetables.

When you click on any of the Fruit or Vegetable pages you will find links to articles about that product’s nutritional and health benefits.

What’s so great about the Growlink website is that you choose the fresh produce you like now, and it is delivered to you quickly, which is great with folks busy lifestyles of today.

Having said that, if you feel like a drive to the scenic mural town of Katikati with its antique shops and shops with a quirky difference,  pay a visit to ‘Onion Veggie Place’ along the way. Leigh and Scott Would be most happy to see you and explain the different values of their products.

“Over 50% of our customers are over the age of 55” says Scott Julian-Shaw (Growlink Manager). “It is also good to see that many of our customers are familiar with today’s technology like computers, iPads and smart phones, so they can make their orders online.” Their loyal customer base love the option of revisiting their last order and being able to adjust it rather than adding each individual item each time they order. So customer feedback has been positive on the user friendly website.
So why not pay a visit to the ‘Onion Veggie Place’, Main Rd, Katikati or online: www.growlink.co.nz
